To a happy new year.

A lovely trek to San Diego has ended in sniffles and a scratchy throat.  However, this tiny setback has not ruined the relaxing and cookie filled week that was our vacation.  We waded our way through the crowds of disneyland, endured the horrors of Snow White's scary adventures.  We explored the spanish-inspired campus of University of San Diego, after a successful stop at Fashion Valley.  We drank our way through two wine tastings in Temecula, enjoying time with new and soon-to-be family members, and purchasing cold-weather accessories.  However, perhaps the best part of our San Diego week was the chance to feel more like a Waidelich, a love for cookies and all.
