Spring has finally arrived, and I'm going to complain. Our 80 year old apartment is unmistakably stuffy, mostly due to the fact that one stubborn radiator is stuck between on and off. The other irony? We have 6 windows, of which only 2 open (without throwing out your back). My newest companion is my portable fan. It follows me around the apartment, or rather I drag it around with me. For as much as I appreciate its efforts to keep me cool and comfortable, it makes the most retched high-pitched prolonged beep whenever it is turned off.
We deal. We go on. We drool over this photo of chocolate-chip cookies on beautiful blue and white china. Most importantly we spend the afternoon at the American Girl Cafe having tea with my soon-to-be 8 year old niece, enjoying every minute of it.
